Vuitton P/F 2010...

Louis Vuitton P/F 2010

Oh la la Vuitton. For once Marc Jacobs has done something that I approve of. I've really been feeling the whole 60's vibe lately, Thank you Chloe for that one, so its no surprise that I would be drawn to this collection. That cape is like the perfect mix between Chloe and Givenchy if you know what I mean; bold graphic Givenchy and classic Chloe styling. I'm glad that Marc showed some restraint, it is Pre-Fall after all so I guess that is expected, the girls can't be shown with giant afros, bunny ears, or Catherine Baba hair. Like I have said before, What I dislike about Marc's clothing design, I think he makes up for with accessories. Can we just stop and stare at those fur leg warmers?! Seriously, I could use a pair. How perfect are those for these nice cold Minnesota winters? Then there is the bags, *wipes drool from mouth* I love the tapestry print that they did with the monogram. It conceals the print enough that it doesn't instantly read as Vuitton. Lately I have been craving a bag with shoulder straps and handles, and this bag certainly fits the bill. Plus the doctors satchel shape is masculine enough that I could get away with it. If only it comes in burnout velvet. I'm really glad something has come around this year that is not an epic failure. I just never expected that something to be done by Marc Jacobs.
